The free Opuswerk Delivery Delay Notices for WooCommerce emails a customer whose paid order still has not shipped, follows up once, and then alerts your staff. It counts calendar days, the same for every product. Pro is for shops whose lead times are long or uneven: it counts working days, knows which products take longer, and lets your other tools react.

What it adds
- Business days: counts every step Monday to Friday, without the public holidays of Germany (each state's own), Austria or Switzerland, and without your own closing days.
- Rules per product, category and shipping class: a made-to-order product or a whole category gets its own lead time, for example a first notice after 35 days, or is left out. An order waits for the longest lead time in it.
- Delivery times: with Germanized, the first notice never comes before the delivery time the product promised. Items ordered on backorder can wait longer, or be left out.
- More notices: up to three further customer emails between the second notice and the staff alert, each with its own text and template.
- An apology coupon: a single-use coupon, valid only for the customer's email address, in the notice you choose.
- Events: tells Klaviyo (metric "Delivery Delay Notice Sent") and any webhook (Zapier, Make, n8n or your own system) about every notice, so your own flows can react.
- A weekly report: every Monday morning your staff get a list of the delayed orders.
- German translation included, in the formal (Sie) and the informal (du) form, with Swiss spelling for Switzerland.
What it does not do
It does not promise a delivery date and does not judge whether a notice or a coupon is required or allowed where you sell. It is a service tool, not a legal one.
Nothing about your customers leaves your site unless you enter a webhook URL or a Klaviyo API key. Then, after each notice, the order number, the step, the days waited and the customer's email address and first name go to that receiver, and only there. All prices are plus VAT. Freemius sells Pro on our behalf, so the invoice and the VAT come from Freemius. With a valid EU VAT number the checkout charges no VAT (reverse charge).

A yearly licence brings updates and support for a year and renews unless you cancel. When it ends, Pro keeps working; only updates and support stop. A one-time licence brings them for as long as Pro is developed. If Pro does not work on your site and we cannot fix it, you get your money back within 30 days of the purchase. The first notice usually goes out some days after an order is paid, so the 30 days leave time to see it work.
